Jefferson Denim originally relocated to Los Angeles from his native Chicago as an actor. He was placed under contract with Columbia Pictures, and this led to some guest roles, commercials, and a stint on NBC's Days Of Our Lives. Music, however, has always been Jefferson's primary passion.

As a musician, Jefferson has been profiled on the PBS series CD Highway, was the house band for 10 episodes of the Power Living With Jake show on the F/X and FIT TV television networks, and had much of the music off of his CD releases featured on the Discovery Channel's Outward Bound series. Jefferson Denim songs are also featured in the films No Rest For The Wicked, Two Warm Nights In Vegas, Soul Mates, Social Intercourse and the made-for-HBO Wildflower. In addition, Denim and composing partner Stephen Teller have composed music for the nationally syndicated show Living Better, CBS's long running The Price Is Right, the nationally televised Cyclone Crosstrainer, Restore 4 and Susan Powter's Give Me Five infomercials, as well as other projects.
