Unleash The Archers is a 5 piece metal act that transcends the boundaries of conventional heavy music genres. Progressively incorporating elements of power metal, melodic death metal, blackened thrash, metalcore, rock, and deathcore into their sound, the band has managed to carve out a niche for themselves within the Canadian metal scene. Setting the band apart from most other metal bands in North America is the originality of their sound, not the least of which can be attributed to the charismatic lead singer, Brittney Hayes, whose enchanting vocal melodies boast the ability to enthrall listeners of all musical tastes. The band has worked diligently since its inception in 2007 to build a local, as well as a Western and Eastern Canadian fanbase, sharing the stage with big name acts such as 3 Inches of Blood, Stratovarius, Dismember, Toxic Holocaust, Augury, and Cattle Decapitation. In August 2009, Unleash the Archers released their debut full-length studio release, "Behold The Devastation." The album was recorded at OmegaMediaCore Studios in Richmond, BC with producer Jason Martin and has so far reached #3 on Earshot Canada’s “Loud Music” chart, as well as #4 on Chart Attack’s “Loud” chart.
