"I have a dream", ‘Famoe’ thinks to himself, whose real name is Fabiano Montesano,when he started his concept for his album "Xplicit". He leans back, whilst looking back on his life. Fabiano was 9 years old when he saw Michael Jackson’s History video. Fascinated by his work (who at the that time was not 'King of Pop'), he attempted to copy this. Day after day he practised before successfully taking part in various events. Like so, he was a sure fire success by appearing in the final round of an MTV video contest at the age of 13. Fabiano recalls exactly: 'I was 15, and had just been listening to "Letter to my unborn child” by 2Pac', when I found out that my father was actually only my step-father. Oh man, I thought it was hilarious. At the time anyway - now it’s all different, you’ll hear about that on the track "Statement"!’ But his life carried on as normal, except that it was then when he started to write his first rhymes, to record his first tracks with the headset and present them to the world. "Well, yeah", says Famoe "as a newbie you’ll mainly just be ridiculed and the more experienced rappers will look down on you. Apart from that, I’m 5,6 tall, not exactly the biggest person ever, haha.” But all of that did not prevent him from working flat out to expand his skillz. In 2006 his debut album "The Itallian Stallion" came out, an album he proudly presented. It didn’t matter to him whether it was a success, whether others were going to love it (although every artist hopes so). But it was his “creation”, a period of his life, with all its ups and downs.After this album, it calmed down for Fantastical, as he called himself then. He had various gigs, collabos with different artists and above all: time for himself... ...Time, which he used to realise his hitherto life’s work "Xplicit". An album that is musically top-notch, an album that includes collabos with Serius Jones, Darnell (Shai), Scola (Dru Hill), Young Hot Rod and Spider Loc (G-Unit) Makio, Amandi, Anosha, Versatyle (Surefire MG).
