Soultree is a Dallas-based trio that is fronted by the sultry, sexy, vocals of Susan Crandall. The life's passions of this singer/songwriter are translated into music and delivered with a fiery soul through her rhythmic guitar and lyrics. The melodic grooves of David Crandall's bass lines enhance the sound of this dynamic group. Soultree's inspired young drummer Chris Holmes adds complexity and rhythmic syncopation to the trio's sound. On stage, Soultree captures the audience with a performance that entrances and arouses.
Susan grew her Soultree roots out of a folk/rock foundation. Playing on the Texas scene for over 8 years, she has groomed a style all her own while playing venues in Houston, Dallas, Ft. Worth, and Austin. Recently gaining recognition and features on Live 365 Internet Radio, Dallasmusic.com, and Dallas Cable Network, there is no shortage of positive press. Also, Susan was recently cast in a regional Mercedes television ad campaign (playing guitar and singing).
