Elton started singing at the early age of 8 on the church choir. Performed in high school talent shows an then some local bands. The material that he chose to perform was by artist such as Gerald Levert, Frankie Beverly, Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross and a host of others. Elton's singing style consist of a combination of smooth ballads, in the pocket dance the soles off your shoes R&B with a taste of pop & Caribbean. He tries not to use the same style of singing on every song and constantly challenge his voice to do new things. The artists mentioned in the previous paragraph have a tremendous influence in Elton's style of singing and have all contributed in helping him to develope the smooth, seductive, put a log on the fire, light a candle with a glass of wine, sock it to me baby love songs that we all love to hear. Elton loves to dance and so he was quoted in a social magazine stating that "When I'm writing an up tempo song, I dance as I write to make sure the groove is tight." During Elton's musical journey, he has had the priviledge of sharing the stage with artist such as the Whispers, the O'Jay's, the Isleys Brothers and many others. Elton invites you come on in to his world for a "lil" while and hope that you enjoy the material that he has worked so diligently to present to you.
